The Bible Study Mens Group I’m in is challenging ourselves to sit in silence with God for 5-10 minutes a day as a way to connect with God.

Getting closer to three years since Tera went home, one of my quiet times got really interesting!

In that quiet time, I remebered a saying that “you just gotta pray and believe and it will all work out.”

And God answered a question  I had!

Me: Just pray and believe? And it will out work out? Yeah? Ok….how’s this for working out:

• I prayed so hard that night in the hospital and so truly believingly (James 1:6) for God to give me a miracle and bring back Tera……That sure didnt work out.

God: Oh it definitely all worked out…..but not for you directly. Tera came Home to Heaven.

And I realized what true love really is.
